Medical Tattooing
Medical tattooing or cosmetic pigment camouflage is a post surgery treatment. It is a method of implanting coloured pigments and blending them into the skin to camouflage an imperfection or to create an optical effect such as an areola or hair.

Burns - once the skin has healed, cosmetic pigment camouflage can be used to camouflage and blend the skin to the surrounding skin tissue and create the illusion of smooth skin.Asymmetry problems and skin colour effects can be corrected to help recreate as normal an appearance as possible.
Scar camouflage – This will not be undertaken until at least one year following surgery. Pigments are implanted to match the scar to the colour of the surrounding skin tone. Typical scars would include accidents, injuries or surgical scars.
Cleft lip – Medical tattooing can dramatically improve the appearance by creating symmetrical shaped lips.
Breast surgery – Once surgery has been completed some women find that they are left with an asymmetry of the areola. This treatment is used to create a natural 3 dimensional effect. If following breast reduction, the shape or colour of the areola has been affected, this can be used to re-colour and make the areola natural in appearance
