Browlift
As we grow older our brow can sometimes start to sag and wrinkle. This can in effect, cause our eyebrows to droop. This usually leaves us with an ageing, tired or sad appearance. A brow lift can remedy this - thus improving the focal point of the face and giving our eyes a brighter, fresher, more youthful look.
The procedure is performed under general anaesthetic -a small incision is made in the hairline and the skin is lifted. Following the procedure, clients will stay overnight in hospital. Stitches are normally removed within 10 days and most clients return to work within 10-14 days.
MySpa offers a comprehensive and extensive post-operative care programme which will provide you with detailed instructions and follow-up appointments with your MySpa surgeon and our dedicated medical staff.

Your questions answered
- What happens after the surgery?

When the lift is complete, the scalp incisions will be closed with stitches or clips and the area will be washed. Gauze and an elastic bandage may also be used, depending on your surgeon’s preference.
Most patients are back to work in a week to ten days. You should be able to shower and shampoo your hair within five days, or as soon as the bandage is removed.
- Who are browlifts for?
-
A brow lift is most commonly performed in the 40-60 age range to minimise the visible effects of ageing. People with inherited conditions such as a low, heavy brow or furrows lines above the nose, can achieve a more alert and refreshed look with this procedure.
